- Published in both cloth and paper format, these maps incorporate Reynolds Stones new Royal and Scottish Arms for Queen Elizabeth II from 1956. Sheets were extended by 20mm in 1960

- This new style cover, designed by Reeves, incorporated the Reynolds Stones Coat of Arms, (either the Royal or Scottish Arms), in the top left hand corner on an upright black background. Covers were laminated after 1965.

- The new Ordnance Survey house style of 1968 used the now, infamous OS logo for the first time. Each sheet has a one colour, in this case blue, laminated cover and the cover image map is surrounded by a white border
