- Pre-Grouping Railway Scene No.3
- O.S.Nock has once again picked a superb collection of photographs from the Rixon Bucknall archives, this time of the LNWR and the 'Premier Line'. The third in the series of books on the pre-Grouping railway scene illustrates the development of the LNWR's locomotive stock from the first 4-2-0s produced in 1847, the immortal Jumbos to Webb's contoversial compounds and the George the Fifth 4-4-0s and Prince of Wales and Claughton 4-6-0s.
- Immortalised by the deep black of their livery, LNWR locomotives were always just a bit more exciting than their contemporaries and in these 140 photographs O.S.Nock has created what can only be described as the premier album for the Premiere Line.
